Hmmm ... if he can draw that good, why didn't he draw more? As it is, the whole thing might be an excellent showreel to get employed in any Anime studio: he knows the shortcuts and the attitude, the effects and the sequence of styles.
But what's the sense in it? Was there a story? Was there a real feeling besides some cheap shock effect?
