I have been trying to export a AVI movie from AS that is both small in file size and looks good in youtube.

Youtubes recomendations:
We recommend the following settings:

* MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format
* 320x240 resolution
* MP3 audio
* 30 frames per second

Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your videos look better on YouTube.
I have tryed to export at this settings but Youtube says that the file is Invalid :(

could it be im using an odd divx/xvid codec does AS use its own or the one on my pc?

What settings do you use to export for web/youtube
Thanks for any help :)

anime studio can't export to mpeg. you can export as avi, mov, swf or static images.
what i do to upload mi stuff to youtube is just compress the exported .avi to .wmv in windows movie maker. this kind of files is compatible to youtube, and it's light and with decent "youtube" quality.

Better convert it to flv. It load faster and without problems.

Isn't there an MPEG compression in the Quicktime .mov export? Surely you could play around with it and get the suitable youtube compression.
