export swf

Post by nanus00 »

hi,
I have trouble when I export my animation as swf. It plays fine but when it replays it crashes. I tried to open swf in another computer but when it replayed the animation was slower and slower.
I also tried to import it to flash but it gave me an error and half the frames were missing. Does anyone know how to fix this?
thanks

A few options worth trying. Try any combination, all of them, one of them, whatever...

1) Goto 'File>Project Settings...' and check the 'Extra swf frame' as this sometimes helps flash loop.

2) Upgrade your Flash player to the latest version

3)Export layer by layer, and import, and reconstruct, in Flash.

4)After doing (4) find the layer which is causing the most problems. Signs of a problematic file are:
- Troubles playing without weird stuff/crashes
- Troubles importing
*Shapes and fills missing (i mean, loads missing not the odd one or two)
*Doubling shapes
*General unexplained crazyness!

- Huge File size

As a work around. Export the file in staggered amounts. So you would export 1-50 frames. Then 51-100 frames. Then 101-150 frames etc etc.

Import into flash. Re-export.

5) Import into Flash and re-export it. MoHo/Anime Studio exports TONS of symbols. By importing it into flash, and exporting it again, will sometimes help solve this. If it doesn't. Break all of the shapes apart and export. The less symbols, the better.
