Hello all!
I've just released a brand new Average Joe cartoon, the 3rd in the series! This is the shortest of the episodes so far but it's probably has one of the funniest scenes.

Enjoy!

You are trying to tell stories. I like it! Most people likes to listen to stories... and have a look.
How long are your stories? How many minutes? Seven!!! Amazing!!!
I cannot understand how you can do them with AS... How many frames do you use....and how can you navigate if you have many frames???
You are doing small clips? And the lipsyncing what are you using for it. Papagayo? No? Volume? handmanipulating?
How many hours making a minute of animation it takes you?
I hope you will tell us a little about your technique... and people can learn... you have really something to teach...

Thanks for the comments guys!

I use between 6 and 8 frames for a head/arm/body movement.

Yes, I animate small clips of dialog and put them together in a video editor.
I hand do the lipsyncing by putting bones around the jaw. I don't think automated lip syncing looks that great to tell you the truth.
How many hours making a minute of animation it takes you?
It takes maybe a week or so to do 2-3 minutes of animation. The Dentist episode took me like 2 and a half weeks.
I may post some of my character files on here and you can play around with those.

Thanks!
I think you guys will be pleased to know that Joe will be getting his own movie after the first season is done and it'll be on the web hopefully by the end of the year. We're aiming for an October release, we're starting animation in May hopefully. I have a rough outline of the story written, it should be good. Here's the page:

Both Brad and I will be writing. We hope to have this be our best effort yet.
We want to really flesh out the characters and get some family history in so we'll be better off for the next season.
But that's a ways off. We still have 3 more short episodes to do for this season. But this movie will be the big season finale!
