Please watch the animation. Did you see some vibration in the shaded circle?
It is done with gradient and it is not supoussed to vibrate The circle is rotated and the gradient not. But it vibrates...
Does anybody know why???? Is this a bug???
Please render the file yourself, compare and let me know, please.
I found that I cannot trust any pattern fill or gradient in a shape which moves. Everything inside the shape seems to behave unpredictably.
Why do you have to rotate the circle anyway? Your design wouldn't show any difference.
Workarounds for a nonmoving gradient:
- create a circle and let it rotate. Use the circle as mask for an underlying shape with a fixed gradient.
- don't rotate the circle. The bone setup is enough to move everything else correctly.
If the gradient needs to rotate with the wheel:
- put the circle on its own layer and user layer binding.
- render it once and import it as PNG. Layer bind it. This way everything inside the circle moves absolutely under your control.
I need to rotate the circle because I plan to draw holes inseide the weel. Like a real one from an old locomotive.
Tankyou for the tips, specially for the mask one. I was thinking on use png layer bind to make the weel rotate.
