i'm using bones as muscles for lipsync (as in the heyvern examples). it's just a test. it's really fun.

this two little bones at side of head controls almost all the mouth movement, moving, scaling and applying angle to it.

Looks great! Import the "clinton.wav" from "Moho, Tutorials, 5 - Animation" and it looks like he saying "not have se..". It almost works well with it.

That's a great rig, Selgin. Thanks for sharing.
You know, I'm still not sure what the "position control bone" does. I tried adding some "position control bone" constraints to the existing bones in your rig, and I didn't see any functional difference.
Am I missing something?

Your characters are very charming, I have always liked them, to me they are warm and it would be nice to have them as friends...lol, well mayby not a dino, if it's not very small (I could have it under my bed).
Very well done selgin, do you have a story in process?

fantastic work again selgin. i really like the design and the rig. my only question is this one:
- i tried to move the bones around trying to figure out which were doing what and basically AS crashed on me when i moved the bones which by the look of it are locked. Has that happen to anybody else?
again great work selgin, keep it up.
rock on

Dekka: It didn't crash on me, but I don't think I tried moving the smaller bones, I just moved the control bones floating off to the right, and they control all the smaller bones. I also moved the large bones in the top and bottom of the head.

thank you all. i'm happily surprised how many comments i have found. thanks.
this is my first approach to the fascinating muscles world. i have seen the way as heyvern works and it's incredible (lamentably, i haven't understood well many of his tips, because his english is particularly complex...).
J. baker, that's truth!, the audio works fine.

i'm not sure if the monster can say any word, i'm not good with lipsync and i haven't played too much with it.
gnaws, position control bone can be used to more complex movements, try to give another values, as 0.3, 0.1, 8, -8, -1000, or whatever. you can have several bones controlled by the same bone, but with different values each, so when you move the control bone, all them will move in different ways.
remember the bones you want be control must have name, in this case i named them -after a hard brain storming- "1" and "2".
ulrik, lamentably i haven't too much time to develop an story, since i got a job my sleep time have been reduced to a few hours. this, more the fact that my brain is absolutely dry now and my hand is broken (ill?)...
but you can be sure that i will post some work soon. relatively soon.
dekka, the mouth bones can't be moved its self. they depends of the control bones. when you move, scale or turn the control control, they will react.
thank you all for the nice messages. and, please, lets play with the control bones, it's really fun and opens a lot of possibilities.

Thank you selgin for your praise.
I will attempt to simplify my english. I have a tendency to try and write the way I speak, it may be a hard habit to break unfortunately.

Awesome rig brother.
Way cool. I love what you've done with the remote control bones for the mouth. Extremely cool.

don't worry, vern, it's my english what must to improve, not make worse your way of write.
thanks mikdog for the kind words.
i was playing this morning with the monster, and i made he sing part of a song of Violeta Parra (ou, if you were spanish or french speakers, really should listen her).
ok, however, here is a little little video of lipsync.
