Hello,

I need help again.

I imported the Anime Character, Aya. I did some animation. The animation can be viewed by clicking the Play button. However, when I exported to flash file, the flash movie is blank except the shoes are moving. In other words, the head, the body, the hands and the legs are all invisible.

I tried to render the head and other parts of the body. However the problem is still the same.

Please help.

Thanks and best regards

Alex

The anime character Aya is made up of bitmaps (collections of pixels). If you animate this character with bones, you can export it to Quicktime or AVI, but you cannot export it to Flash. You can see the shoes because they are not being deformed by bone movements.

This is a problem with Flash, not AS. You can export from AS as a QT movie, then import this into Flash...but that probably isn't what you want.

Convert Aya into vector drawings -- then it would work...

Hi,

Thanks for your help. I prefer to convert Aya into vector drawings. But how can I do that? Do I have to convert each part (e.g. head, hair, legs, etc...) of Aya into vector drawings?

Thanks and best regards

There are several ways, but the most productive way seems to be to trace the image in AS, using the Add Point tool, and then fill the shapes, using the original artwork as a color swatch.

...as Rasheed says, and yes, you will have to convert each part...
