Working with (and creating new) BRUSHES

Hello!
I was trying to play with brushes, but somehow they won't let me :(
Empty project, I set line properties and select a new brush. Then I try different tools : add point, arrow, circle and retangle, but all draw in regular line type (not brushed), not even on preview. Am I missing something?

BTW, I tried to create a new brush, but I'm unsure of properties of the PNG. LM, could you give a little insigth of brush PNG innings?

Thanks!

W.

Brushes apply to just the outlines of a shape, not the fill. Also, they don't show up well on thin lines - to see the brushes better, increase the width of your lines. Finally, you need to use the Render command to actually see the brushes (in beta 2 we'll have an option to display brushes in the editing view).

To create your own brushes, they should be black images on a white background. Just take a look at some of the included brushes and you'll get the idea. The naming scheme of the brush files tells Moho what their default properties (spacing, alignment, etc.) should be - we'll go into detail about that in the manual.
