There's a new animated feature film coming out called Romeo & Juliet: Sealed With a Kiss. It's mostly hand-drawn animation, but it does make use of Anime Studio in some of its shots.

The movie will be out in limited release to start with, and the creator is hoping it'll get picked up for wider distribution. Check out it's website below - go to the Release Dates page to see where it will be showing (only various California cities for now):

Let's go support this very independent production, and maybe see who can guess which shots use Anime Studio! (Sorry, I don't know the answer, but the creator, Phil Nibbelink, might be able to clue us in.)

That would be fun to see, but it's mostly hand-drawn so Anime Studio isn't the main tool used in this film.

Hey, my old boss - I was camera on American Tail II with Mr Nibbelink at Universal's studio in Acton, London.

Looking at the stills on his site gallery, the line quality suggests that much of the character animation was inked in Flash ... all the line weights are the same thickness and no end-of-line tapers.

Hope Phil does well with this.

The trailer is so cute. That has a lot of potential.

Cool trailer eh?
It's actully all hand drawn frame by frame into Flash. Doesn't look like Flash does it?

AS/Moho was used for crowd shots. That is, the particle system was used for crowd shots.
