which programs can I use to export obj files??

Hello I have 3ds max v3.0, but I can´t find the exprot obj option,
Have I got to donwload a plug in to do it???? or maybe Do I have to get a newer version of the software??
I have downloaded 3d wings but I find 3ds max better to model

I'm not familiar with 3D studio but I imagine OBJ should be in there. Perhaps save as? Most 3D software should support the OBJ format in one form or another.
