Frame selector for movies

Hi all,

First of all i like to thank the Moho crew for making such a wonderfull app.
After a bit playing around with it some ideas came up that could be worth it to implement.

I'd like to see some more features on the movie layer ( just an imported movie) where you could select a frame to expose on a certain keyframe.
Just like swichtlayers but then the switches are inside the movie.

The benefit from this is that the movie can be controlled and deformed from the top level skeleton in a bones layer.
The only way to deform a switchlayer at this moment is to put the bones inside the switchlayer.
If i want to control that switchlayer from the toplevel boneslayer then i have to copy the bones and use the multibone control script.
That is always a difficult task.

hope you all understand what i mean

i'd like to move a movie in the timeline, have more control, can divide it, etc.
like in edition software. video layers need urgently a change.

Yes,

I agree with this type of feature.

It would be great to be able to stop/start/pause imported movie files anywhere in the timeline using some kind of video "frame" keyframe... uh... thingy.

----------

Here is a tip I just discovered. It may be obvious but it's new to me.

If you have imported a video file, you can force it NOT to start by making it invisible (not transparent... turn visible off)

In my case I have a whole series of videos on a "tv monitor" with an announcer.

I import a static image of the first frame of the animation on one layer. I Make the second matching video layer above that one invisible until I need it to start.

That imported video won't start till the visibility layer attribute is checked in the time line. Very handy.
