Very sneaky, putting the shading in vector layers out front of the objs. It's almost like rotoscoping in front of the obj objects.

thank you guys.
masking is a great tool. unfortunately, there is a lot options which doesn't exist. for example, masking an independent layer (without the need of to be inside the same group).
