drawing in the timeline

I am triing Moho for about 2 weeks and all my doubts i solve in this forum. But this one I cant find out.
I am using switch layer to make some frame by frame detail (like hands), and I am having some problems drawing in another frame beside 0, because the same spacebar to join points and fill shape, also playback the animation!?
What am i doing wrong? Please, help me!!
