How to recover windows/panels that are off screen?

After switching a monitor set-up, I found I was not able to access pop-up windows (project settings, colour picker, Import layers, etc). It turned out that these items are opening up off-screen, and once open, the program just gives you an error noise when you attempt to do anything (until I hit 'Esc' key to close the off-screen window).

I was able to switch back to the old set-up to be able to access and move those windows back into view, but it would be great if there was a feature that would let you select and move offscreen windows, or to 'call' them back to your main screen.

Please let me know if there is a better solution that swapping my active monitors in order to access off screen windows.

The panel positions are stored in user settings. Go to the user settings folder: Help > Show Autosave Files. Then to the folder above that (which should be '14'). In there, there will be a file called: Moho Pro14.user.settings.

You could: Close Moho, rename Moho Pro14.user.settings, then start Moho - and all the positions will be reset. Note: This will also reset a bunch of other things. So you may have to restore the original (with Moho closed, as Moho updates the file when closing).

Inside that file is where all the Moho Windows stuff gets stored. Look for MohoWnd_location, and other _location entries - you can edit these (with Moho closed) and it will affect the panel positions, when Moho is restarted.

p.s. Not sure if this is easier than swapping Monitors, but may come in handy if you like tinkering.
