Crowdfunding Campaign for a pro-level cut-out animation tutorial series

Hello everyone!

I am working on an animated Web Series made entirely with Moho, and to help fund the trailer, I was thinking about launching a Kickstarter for a pro-level cut-out animation tutorial series that would be made free for the entire Moho community.

The goal would be to gather $10K CAD (roughly $7K USD), with a $15K CAD (roughly $11K USD) stretch goal that would also include a pro-level rigging tutorial.

As for the rewards, and to keep it simple, I was thinking about a shout-out in the course intro, and in the trailer ending credits for $10 CAD (roughly $7 USD).

I would like to know if there is an appetite for such a tutorial series and your thoughts and suggestions!

Thanks in advance for your time...

I almost never post here, but I've been following this forum for many years.

I remember you made a similar offer in the past: you asked people to prepay for your tutorials, and then you disappeared from the forum for quite a while (for medical reasons, according to a brief post you made a long time later), and those tutorials were never released.

I don't want to question what happened to you 13 years ago, but I do want to warn the people on this forum about what happened to those tutorials in the past.

Now, I have a few questions for you:

You offer professional-level cutout animation tutorials.

What is your experience in this area? Do you work in the animation industry? Are there any showreels, productions you've worked on, or anything else we can see?

I'm looking at your YouTube channel, and there isn't much there. The last video was posted 9 years ago. Considering this, could you give us reasons why people should trust our money to your future tutorials?

Hello!

Yes, about 10 years ago I had a stroke. I was 52 at the time, and I was working way too much, I had to make big changes, and it took me about 2 years to get back on track, and for that I apologized.

That stroke is the reason I stopped making tutorials 10 years ago!

Like I said, this post is only to see if there is an appetite for such a tutorial set and if community members would be willing to make a little donation to my project, if there is, and if I decide to go forward with that project, I will make good on the community.

I also plan on making new Moho tutorials, I have been making 2D animation for almost 50 years, it is my passion, and now that I have time to myself I want to produce my own animated series, which has been a long time dream of mine.
