Hi! I bought a Moho 12 license from a past Humble Bundle deal.

I wanted to ask if I’m eligible to purchase the Moho 14 upgrade. When I tried checking out, the system said my serial number is already in use, even though I’ve already deactivated it on my computer.

Am I allowed to use my Humble Bundle Moho 12 license to buy the Moho 12 → Moho 14 upgrade?

Moho 12 doesn't have online activation anymore, so it's curious that the Lost Marble Store objected to the license being 'in use'. Regardless, the software's activation status shouldn't have anything to do with purchasing an upgrade.

To me, it sounds more like the Store erroneously thinks your serial number has already been used for upgrading to Moho 14. Maybe another user submitted your serial number by mistake? You may want to check with Lost Marble's sales team regarding this matter. They can fix it for you.

BTW, you can safely reactivate your Moho 12 license. After you get the Moho 14 upgrade, it's not necessary to deactivate the Moho 12 license because the new Moho 14 license can coexist with the Moho 12 license. (As a matter of fact, I keep Moho 12.4, 13.5, and 14.4 licenses activated on the same computer.)

If you have trouble reactivating the old Moho 12 license, be sure to use the latest Installer from this site:

https://my.smithmicro.com/

This was the last version of Moho 12 published, and you must use this version because Smith-Micro's license servers are no longer in use.

(Note: Smith-Micro was the owner of Moho 12. Lost Marble supports Moho 13 and higher, but for a limited time, they will recognize a Moho 12 serial number for upgrading to Moho 14.)
