How to make evenly spaced out lines in a curvy path?

Hello!! I am quite the beginner in Moho so don't know well all the tools, but I am making a roller coaster and I wanted to add the rail connectors (if that's the right name) as little lines. Now instead of adding the rails one by one on the curvy route, I was wondering if there was a way to add them very fast and evenly spaced out along the path of the roller coaster. I tried the follow path technique but it seems to involve animation which I do not want to have at this stage. If anyone can help, that would be very much appreciated ^^ Thank you in advance!!

This is a two part job.

1. For building stuff like this I use the grid, set to snap. Create one sleeper along with a piece of rail, adjust the grid size, then copy/paste/drag until you have a long enough piece of railway.

2. Put this layer into a bone layer and create a straight chain of bones (again with grid help). This is all in frame 0. In frame 1, drag that bone curve to create the curvy line ou need. You'll see that the rails will follow.

Hi,

It would help if you could provide a sketch of what you're trying to achieve because this request can be interpreted in many ways. For example, is the view overhead, from the side, in perspective, etc., ...

Here are a few techniques that come to mind...

Custom Brush: Create a custom brush that resembles the rails and ties, and set it to repeat the pattern along the path. What's nice about this method is that it automatically adapts to the length of your track.

Follow Path: create the rail with ties should be easy, and it doesn't need to be animated. Just make a straight image of the tracks that's as long as the curve, then use the Alt Select option to bend the tracks to the curve. Note that the tracks art needs to be segmented to support the bending. This tricky part with this method is that you will need to adjust the length of your track to fit the path.

Curver: A similar technique to Follow Path is to use Curver. This approach might be more suitable depending on your needs. You'll still need to adjust the length of the track art, but a Curver path can also stretch it, which may make the adjustment a little easier.

Hope this helps.
