I have a simple fire using particles. The problem is, once I move I go past frame zero, it doesn't work. it's like the main group is linked only to the mask at the bottom (which I turned on the path for the mask so it's easier to see. I thought maybe I had KFs before frame 0 but can't spot any. Could someone open this file and let me know if they can locate the issue?

Looks like it works fine here, in v14.3.

What I prefer to do is replace dl=0 at the end of the link with raw=1. This makes the link download the file immediately, without sending the user to an external DropBox page.

That's just a display update issue. If you scrub/play the timeline or render, it is correct.

yeah - display issue - exactly as Wes says. The work area display isn't updated until you move away from the new key. Do the move as in your video. Then step one frame right and the flame re-appears.
