Importing .mov into MOHO 14 with transparency

I there some secret to importing .mov movies into MOHO 14 and getting the program to recognize the alpha channel.
I import a 5 second .mov movie into MOHO 14 and I get a black background instead of transparency. When I import the same clip into Davinci Resolve... it recognizes the alpha channel, and I can place it over a different background that shows through... so I know the alpha channel is there. The file format when output from the Video Editor (Davinci Resolve) was .mov (Quicktime) and the codec is DNxHR... I'm hoping MOHO 14 can handle the importation of .mov movies with transparency... any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

See
viewtopic.php?t=36840 and
viewtopic.php?p=220406.
What works for me is .mov with
PNG codec (millions of colours+).

If the video you're importing into Moho is for tracing or timing an animation, and you don't mind an imperfect work-around, go to Layer Settings for the video and set the "Blending" mode to
SCREEN, and the blackened area will become transparent.
All the black in the video will
also become transparent, and other colors will be altered, but the video might be useful nonetheless.

Has anyone ever imported (not exported... IMPORTED) .mov video with transparency, into MOHO 14 and it actually work? I don't get transparency, I only get a black background. If the software can't do it... I'd like to stop racking my brain trying to figure out the secret. If it can be done, it shouldn't be a secret. If you know... please tell me.

As I said, you have to choose a correct codec for that .mov file to make it work.

I don't mean to seem slow, but I feel like I'm missing something... as far as my general understanding is concerned. The obvious question would be... "which codec" and what editing software outputs in the proper codec?

OK, my programs all give me the choice between several codecs when I export to MOV. In some it's obvious, others hide it behind some extra icon, so look up your video editing software's manual for it.
On OSX I can open "file info" for any video file and see the codec it used. Should be the same on Win.

Thank you for your response. Which codec am I looking for? Surely the software works well with a specific codec. What is the codec I should use? ... or am I just supposed to try every codec offered by every program until I stumble upon one that works. Because that's what I've been doing, and it's not working so well. That's why I've posted the question.

PNG codec (millions of colours+) (the + is important!)
or Apple ProRes 4444.
