Supposedly coming to Adobe Illustrator at some point. 2D to 3D. Looks amazing.

A friend sent me this link yesterday, and I'm very excited about it. I also have a ton of questions.
However, if Turntable works as well as shown, it will profoundly affect how I create vector drawings in Moho switch layers for turning objects like the arm, leg, head, etc.

Somehow I think that this project turntable could be fake. The only way I can see this working is if he took a 2d model expanded into 3D and reduced it back to 2D. Ai is good but it's not quite there yet.
The reason why I say this is because I haven't seen any videos of random 2D vector in the turntable algorithm.

I just checked and I see that Turntable is available in the current Adobe Illustrator beta.
TBH, I'm skeptical as I'm very fussy about how I draw/construct my Moho vector art for rigging, both technically and aesthetically. In other words, even if Turntable can generate visually acceptable turntable vector art for my character, their construction probably won't be suitable for rigging and animation. But, admittedly, I'm making assumptions.
Okay, you activated my curiosity, so I'll take a look. If the tech doesn't surprise me by creating something usable, it might at least be good for giggles.

Imagine if it is in Moho it would be like working with another friend who knows how to rotate the character for the us as a main animator!

Yeah character rotations are so hard to get right!
