The current Layers panel could be developed further: Expand the selection making it easier to see selected layer attributes, shapes, styles, bones etc.

- Show shapes of the vector layer
- Show styles of the shape
- Show fill and stroke of the shape
- Show bones of the bone layer
- Etc.

In my opinion, this would greatly help to understand, see and even edit certain attributes of an element. As a reference, I'd look at the Blender which has similar, yet more advanced features to work with scene elements.

I agree. Some of my character rigs have a dozen or more shapes in a single layer (realistic hands are a good example,) and managing all of these shapes for animation is difficult in a standard Moho setup. Especially when Liquid Shapes are involved.

In the meantime, I highly recommend using Rai's Shapes Window. His tool has made my Moho life so much easier. For example, here's one of the hair layers for the 'Artist' character from our tutorial series:



Rai's tool simplified my use of Liquid Shapes for sorting and shading the parts for each lock of hair, and for selecting each lock for rigging.

Hands are another good example. In the Artist rig above, there 10 shapes in each hand drawing, and there are 10 hand drawings for each hand. That's a lot of shapes to sort and animate. And this character only has four fingers! Previously, I just dealt with it, but after Rai's tool came out, I hardly need to think about this anymore because it's all there in the tool.

Update: Oh, wait...I don't think I used Liquid Shapes in this particular hair example, but I have used it for shading hair for other characters. Anyway, you get the point: Rai's tool was still handy here.

Thanks for the tip! I'm still very new to Moho software, and not familiar with the scripts that will improve the Moho usage. But will definitely check it out! As a matter of fact, I have yet another feature request related to the community scripts, but will post it as another topic.
