Slide a point along an edge

Is there a way to slide a point along an edge, like in Blender, and if not, how do you handle the scenarios where you need to move one or more points without changing the figure's shape?

I rarely need that. In those cases I activate onion skin, create a key at the original shape and try to match it in a different shape with shifted points.

In Moho, I don't think you can slide a point and preserve a curve's shape because the shape is typically defined by the point positions.
But if you need to add a point at a specific location without changing the shape of the curve, you could enable Fixed Bezier Handles and insert the new point. Like so...
This works if you don't mind keeping other points. Unfortunately, deleting a point point will alter the curve shape.
If you really must
move a point and keep the shape, I would duplicate the layer before editing the curve, and use the duplicate's curve as a guide. You'll likely need to reshape the bezier handles for adjacent points to match the old shape.
When drawing a vector for deformation in Moho, it's best practice to strategically place the points as you draw. Was the curve your editing created in another application and now you need to edit it in Moho to improve deformation? I don't recommend this workflow because it tends to create too much unnecessary work. For vector art that will be deformed in Moho, it's always better/easier to create it in Moho.
Hope this helps.
