[WIP] Green Girl Fantasy Project OC

Hi there

Working on a re-design of an original character of mine of my dream project that i've been thinking about since i was like 13. I was trying to get a design down that lends itself well to cut-out/rigs. Meaning, very graphic, deliberately flat, simple but still expressive.

She's nothing fancy but i came to the realization that, at least for me, simple rigs are much more enjoyable especially to animate then overblown things... i rather make multiple versions that serve different scenes once i have the storyboard.

Looking good. Is that automatic Wind on the hair or was it done manually?

I like the style. Personally I'd include some line boil in all the still parts too.

Yea that‘s me foolin‘ around with the wind feature :)

Mmm, I like the line boil on only the moving parts tbh.

Mouth control is just dead simple switch layers, nothing fancy :) Simplest solutions often yield the best results, don‘t shy away from drawing parts instead of trying to build smartbones for everything imo.

Kinda didn't like the design after a while so remade the whole thing from scratch with slightly adjusted proportions etc.

Currently implementing all vitruvian bones i need and i roughed out the sequence i want to animate with Moho's fbf tools so i know what the rig needs in advance (i'm lazy so i really try to not rig more than i need for a scene).
