Possibly a bit highbrow, but hey, I'm trying for content I can manage. Something I got inspired to do - from two unrelated events. One an audio passage from the closing of the James Bond franchise starring Daniel Craig. Then a clip of a dangling phone receiver from another movie, a couple of months later. Lets hope there’s something in the saying: ’things happen in three’s’

Thanks pihms. It's one hell of a quote and would liked to have done the opportunity of animation more justice. Lacking in time and skill for the time being. Your reply has encouraged me to have a look at the bezier curves for the dangling phone, somehow I don't think I've nailed it, close, but could be better. As for the walking figure and shadow, for now, decided to let the viewer make that journey.
