Can a smart bone add a regular actions frames to the main timeline?

So I'm trying to setup a more graphical UI for the use of regular actions.
How can I make it so when the smart bone is rotated down it adds the regular action "run" to the timeline and when the smart bone is rotated up it adds the regular action "walk" to the timeline? Is it possible?
