Hi there,
I work with Moho 13.5.
And even though I have many TTF fonts on my MacBook, I do not know how to import all of these?
Could you help me, because the font pool within Moho is quite limited. Thanks in advance for your help!

@seb78, Moho is supposed to access fonts installed normally through the OS. In Windows, right-click on the font file and select Install or Install for All Users.

(Update: On Windows 10 use only Install For All Users. The regular Install will not work for Moho. See next two posts and link below for explanation.)

That said, for some reason, Moho has not been able to read all of my installed fonts, notably any font I created myself.

I haven't looked into this issue for quite some time but it seemed like we found a solution to the 'missing' fonts by installing them with very specific steps. That might be wishful thinking on my part but I'll dig into my notes today and see if anything turns up.

On Windows, you have to "Install for All Users" for Moho to find the font.

Don't know what the equivalent might be for Mac.

I'm seeing all my fonts in Moho 13.5.2 (Mac Monterey).

Maybe the issue is with multiple font libraries? There is one at MacHD>Library> Fonts, but probably another one at MacHD>Users>(username)>Library>Fonts (and maybe others, if there are other users)

Is there any difference between what's in these font folders and what Moho is showing you?

I can't think of any reason regular fonts/typefaces wouldn't show up.

Mac info: make sure the fonts are on the top level inside the "fonts" directory, not inside another folder.

Only use the "fonts" directory in the main library on the startup disk, not the one for "all users" or "your name".
