Taper or pointed ends

Hi,
I'm trying to add two pointed ends on a shape.
It won't work with the Curvature tool.

The line width tool (looks like a curved slope) may be a better choice for making a tapered endpoint.

Yes, use Line Width. you may need to add a point near the end points, depending on how far you want it to taper.

About Curvature...

Curvature is not used for tapering, it's used for adjusting the smoothness or sharpness (peak) in an angle. It's similar to how you might use Bezier except you can't break the tangent with it like you can with Bezier points. That said, I find using Curvature is more reliable than Bezier points for paths I need to deform using bones. FYI, for artwork I'm creating for deforming characters, I prefer to keep the Bezier handles hidden so I don't accidentally activate them, and I usually rely on 'regular' Moho points and Curvature.

One catch: when you're using Curvature, you can't hide the handles. However, Synthsin75 made a tool mod that adds the buttons for this tool. You can get the mod here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=31365&start=30

If you accidentally activate a Bezier point, you can reset it as a 'regular' point by using the Smooth or Peak button in Curvature.

This isn't to say I don't find Bezier points useful--they are very useful--but I mainly use them only when I'm not going to deform the artwork with bones.

Hope this helps.

Line width tool did it.
Thank you.
I did try it before and it didn't work.
I added a point then deleted another and it worked.
