Scrub button below timeline absent in 13.5

Hi, in Moho 12 there was a little button under the timeline than I could left-click and drag to the right and the timeline would accelerate forward in time. I used that button a lot, but I'm not seeing it in 13.5. I checked the Preferences and the other usual places for a toggle on/off option, but didn't see it. Is there a way to get the button back?

The only thing I have down there on 12.5 is the timeline window scrollbar, which is unsurprisingly also present on 13.5.

Do you mean the current time marker? That's the inverted triangle in the time ruler you can click and drag on to move foward/backward in the timeline. If you don't see it, that's weird because, AFAIK, it should always be there, and there is no option to hide/show it.

Other ways to navigate the timeline, besides the current frame marker and the Playback button controls, are L/R keyboard arrows or using Alt + mousewheel inside the timeline window.
But yeah, I just looked it up in the manual, and the current frame marker should always be there. The manual describes it as red triangle, but in Moho 13.5, it's teal by default. (It really depends on the color set in Preferences.)
Maybe you have an old third-party script that's interfering with the UI? Just a thought.

The "button" is the gray rectangle at the very bottom, in the left corner. The button slides in a track, right and left, and allows you to look at keyframes that are presently off-screen. My Moho 13.5 doesn't have it.

I just installed Moho 13.5, and I haven't installed any scripts yet, so it must be something else.

Yes, the timeline window scrollbar. I'm happy to hear you have it. My 13.5 doesn't have it for some reason.

See? This is 13.5 and there is no scrollbar at the bottom.

Oh, you mean the window scroll bar. That is weird if you don't see it.
Can you post an image of what you see in Moho 13.5? I'm wondering if the window is undocked and the bar is being clipped by your screen edge. I guess the quickest way to check is to un-maximize the main window and move it around. Or just look under the Docking menu.
Anyway, if you right click drag in the Timeline, the view will pan L/R. I prefer the method instead of using the scroll bars. For me, it's easier because I can click anywhere in the whole timeline region instead of a tiny button to do the same thing.

I wrote the above just before you posted the 13.5 image.
Yeah, try clicking the Maximize button and see what happens. I don't think the Timeline is undocked but it might be clipped because the main window is sized too big for the display. That might not be the case, but it's worth a try.

Just wondering, are you also missing the vertical scrollbar? I can't tell from either of the screen caps.

I'll check...
Oh my goodness, I am also missing the vertical scrollbar! GASP!
I maximized and minimized and I resized the Moho area and the scrollbars remain missing.
Thanks for telling me about the right-click + drag in the timeline. I didn't know about that trick. That's pretty nifty.

Oops, I do have the vertical scrollbar after all. It wasn't evident at the moment I checked because I didn't have enough active channels. When I activated a few more channels, the vertical scrollbar appeared.
The horizontal scrollbar is still missing, though.

So... in the last big picture you posted, I can actually just about see the top of the bottom scrollbar. Have you tried undocking the timeline?

the scroll handle / slider in the vertical bar won't be there if it isn't needed -- IOW if all the channels that are to be displayed will fit in the space, you won't see the slider (but you will see the "groove" where it fits)..
on the horizontal - the only thing I can think of is that you've somehow managed to overrun the display area -- can you reduce the size of the whole moho window so it's very obviously away from the screen edges? -- that is (windows:) poke the "restore down" button in the top right between minimise and close, then re-size and reposition to be, say, about a third the height / width of the screen and in the middle??
[edit] cross-posted! sorry..

Hey! That worked! Thank you.
I went to Window>Docking>Timeline and unchecked Timeline. When the Timeline undocked, the horizontal scrollbar appeared.
When I re-docked the Timeline, the scrollbar disappeared again, though. Oh well.
I guess I'll keep it undocked. How strange that this is happening.
Ideally, the scrollbar would be usable while the Timeline is docked, but at least it's back.

Thanks, I tried but it did not solve the problem.
