Hi, is there any way I can adjust the transparency of a png file I import into moho?

AFAIK Moho doesn't have a transparency control for imported PNG files. You should do this with an external image editor.

Yes you can change the transparency of an image layer just like other layers.

However you can't see the effect until you render. I just discovered this the other day.

Being able to see this while working on it would be nice of course.

Oops, of course, you're right, heyvern. I was thinking of region transparency, not layer transparency. Layer transparency can be manipulated in Moho.

Ha ha!

After I posted I thought,

"Dang! Maybe Rasheed was talking about a transparency MASK not the whole thing!"

;)

I decided since the question wasn't specific... it would be okay.

On a side note... since I am somewhat lazy... I often will just draw a simple mask in Moho for images... if I don't feel like opening up Photoshop.

I am working on an animatic using scans of artwork on a white background. Sometimes the images need to get close without overlapping so I just throw in a simple outline mask.
