Hi minimacman,

Not so much a matter of assigning a bone to each image, more a matter of creating a skeleton and then assigning an image layer to individual bones in the skeleton - a minor distinction but I find it helps when understanding the concept.

The process of binding an image layer to a bone is explained in Tutorial 4.1 Image Layers
Points to note:
All image layers are children of the bones layer.
You can position the images first then go back and draw the skeleton to match.
By creating overlapping images, you can move parts of the body without showing gaps (think of a paper puppet with pins through the joints or pivot points).

Regards, Myles.

I have been learning the "ropes" with the drawing tools and I think I'm ready for boning. Is there one place that has Many or All tuts for this process. I am aware of the LM basic tutorial. Thanks Myles for the perspective on boning

minimacman- I'm experiencing the same problems, I think it's just a matter of experimenting (after doing the tutorials over and over!) Since I have just started attempting boning I don't know what I'm talking about.
