Uploading Videos to the forum

Hi all.
Is it OK to upload videos? How do you do it? I'd like to post videos showing various problems that I have.
I know that you need to post using the forum insert options such as [ Vimeo] or [ Img ] etc, but is that the only way?
I don't have a Vimeo account, and am not sure how to store images online and get links to them to post in the forum.
I use EZGIF to crop and save videos for posting on Facebook,butthey don't save them or have forum links, so how would I post videos here? Is there a similar free online service that somehow saves your uploads and gives you links that would work in the forum? Or is there a tag I can use to post images and videos directly from my PC?
