How to remove background from effect pack ?

I downloaded Effects Pack that I was gonna use in Moho but files are mp4 and all the effects have black background. Is there a way to remove it and leave only the effect as that is the way it was suppose to be used ?

Have you tried Layer Blend Modes? Screen and Overlay should give you a nice superimposed effect.

I tried both in General Tab of my mp4 (special effect) layer but nothing changes...it's still black background in the video file.

You need to render something in order to see the effect.
