I've been adjusting the animation clip, output size, and have tidied up desktop, so moved original animation file, from original location temporary, I'm currently viewing without any keyframes i.e. dots, tried different tool selections etc. Has this happened to anyone before, the animation is only at development stage, so can start from scratch. Even the preloaded walk ruler imported previously had markers, now don't seem to have any.

Did you hide the animation channels?

got them back, just like that, some kind of software quirk I think, can happen at any time in any software. thanks

Are you sure the layer which has the keyframes is selected?
