im using images and not vectors, just wondering how I would find a way to make a switch layer that can be triggered to change the face whenever i do a certain mouth switch layer... The reason why is I want to be able to leave the eyes and mouth to have separate switch layers for different eye expressions while i change the mouth... like this:

FACE
---->eye
------->eye1,2,3,4,5 etc
---->mouth
------->papagayo presets

say i wanted to add or subtract or move the face for a mouth change...

I guess I could just do the face with the mouth, and have that change per speech, and then have the eyes switch layer on top of that, right?'

im just rambling here I made a small cartoon that talks with xara and png's and it turned out really cool...

If you are talking about changing the face shape using the same switch data as the mouth shape, why not? After you import the lipsync data you can always mess with the keys that are applied to the face shape. And I use separate switch layers for mouths (synced) and eyes (by hand) all the time. Along with switch layers for the nose for partial head turns. Pile 'em on, I say.
