is their any free software out their that you can use to change the voice into a different one.

There are paid software, but I use Audacity to change my voice with pitch, compression and other effects.

Audacity is a good choice for changes to an existing recording.
For on-the-fly changes (the software changes your voice as you speak, and acts like a sound source/microphone for your recording software), maybe MophVox Junior, the cut-down free version of the paid program:
