starting a "particle" animation

hi, how can I set a "starting point" in particle layer, for example in script>particle effects> snow, i need that snow starts falling down in a empty sky. thx

Select your Particle Snow Layer / Move your Time Slider to your start Frame /
Check / Uncheck the Particle On / Off Box as desired (Top Left Corner).
This will create the necessary key-frames. Adjust as needed…

that way doesn't work, I need the snowflakes begin to fall from the top, not just full screen at once. I could use an animated mask, or play with opacity from 0>100%, but it's not the same thing

ok, solved! just checking "allow animated layer effects" on layer setting :wink:
