Videos to DVD: What's the best format?

Hi, I've created a set of 13 educational music videos in Anime Studio Pro, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on a good way to put them on DVD without losing much quality. Each video is 3 minutes long or less. I've read on the forum that a lot of people recommend rendering to JPG or PNG and then putting it together in another program. I have Adobe Premiere Elements 11, and I could do that, but then I have the question of which codec to use to render the videos out from Adobe? Also, since I'm not making any changes to the videos, is it really necessary to do that step? I've also read about rendering the videos out from Anime Studio Pro using an AVI format with the Laragith lossless codec. Would this be a good way to go if the end product is going on DVD?
Other than Anime Studio Pro 9.5 and Adobe Premiere Elements 11, I don't currently own other video programs. If needed, I do have a few hundred dollars to buy more programs, but I'm not sure what to buy, or if I really even need anything else at this time.
Anyway, I appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks.
Tony
