I want to make a Kurzgesagt/In a nutshell like animation to explain something I've thought of.

Would this be sufficient or should I add in more details straighten out the pants etc. I'm planning on making more of these with different skin color, hair etc.

It depends on what you need this character to do. If it's just a placeholder like "two in eight people" it's OK. If you want it to interact with objects (holding/manipulating) or people (look at/talk), then you definitely need more detail.

(Kurzgesagt is one of the better explanation projects. Steve Taylor, one of their authors, is my favourite english voice actor.)
