The tutorial video is too fast I can't see what's happening. I have a circle and all points selected but when i use the Curve Profile Tool and click or click&drag nothing happens.

It's pretty easy to use but there is a procedure you have to follow.

1. Create a shape, just draw a closed circle for now. Give it a stroke and/or fill.

2. In the same layer, draw your profile shape. For example, draw a 'W' shape using only four lines. Don't bother to stroke the lines for the 'W'...you don't need that for Profile shape.

3. Select the points of the original circle shape (or whatever shape you wish to apply the profile to.) This is important: you want to select the points with the Select Points tool in the Draw section, not the shape using the Select Shape tool in the Fill section. Optionally, you can just click on the shape using the Select Points tool and it should select all the points for you.

4. Select the Curve Profile tool from the Fill section in the Tool Box.

5. Click on the profile shape, i.e., the 'W' in this example.

That should be it. You can scale the size and frequency of the profile using the Repeat Count parameter.

One really fun thing you can do with this is to animate the Curve Profile. In the 'W' example above, grab the middle peak and move it around and see what happens to the path using the Curve Profile.
