Peanuts series. Anime Studio?

Hi everyone,
I just found this Peanuts animation and it looks as it was made in Anime Studio.
The characters look rigged and the mouths feel like vector animation. Even some of the strokes -if they are not bitmaps- look like vector with noise and sketchy effect.
Do you know something about it?

Thanks!

This says they use After Effects: https://translate.google.com/translate? ... rev=search

Comments on this article also indicate After Effects: http://www.cartoonbrew.com/tv/first-loo ... 04887.html

Definitely doable in AS.

Thank you, Wes.
I just checked the Linkedin of some of the animators and one wrote it was made in After Effects (which sounds hard), but he also works with Anime Studio, so I wrote him an e-mail, just in case.

Wow, I really hope he didn't do it in After Effects if he was familiar with AS.

Some of the comments in the cartoonbrew article are pretty acrimonious in regards to "2D digital puppeting". Personally, I think the shorts are excellent and ASP would be more than capable of duplicating that look and feel.

Yeah, some of those comments seemed pretty nitpicky too me, especially considering the quality of the original cartoons.

Yep, I was just reading through the comments and a lot of them are inaccurate.

Not once do any of the comments mention AS. Weird.

P.S. Wes, get your boots and rain coat ready. We got some stuff headed our way.

Yep, I've been hearing about that. Just so long as it doesn't interrupt my TV watching...and doesn't take out the privacy fence I've been putting up.

Dudes on Cartoon Brew were acrimonious? I'm sorry, i just can't believe that. I'm pretty sure their servers are powered by hatred.
