Hey Guys, Happy Holidays!

Im a newbie to animation so dont have all the lingo down yet. I just bought anime studio and been going through the tutorials online. But also Ive been trying to search online on what other software i need to use to make my workflow better for the kind of animation video i want to create.

Ive seen some guys use anime studio with premiere and flash so im trying to see if you guys can give me some recommendations on what you think would be the best set up for the kind of animation im trying to create.

I kinda want to do an animation like this: > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VufDd-QL1c0
Now that video probably has too much animation and details then i want to do but thats closest thing i could find to give as an example. I know he used flash for that video.

For my animation i wanted to pretty much create a basic character where it looks like its walking around certain parts of a website screen. Like in a way where it looks like the character hits a button maybe on the screen and explains things here and there about the website its on. Where the rigging of the character is just pointing at a tab and so forth and also have lip sync with the character.

So Im wondering what you guys recommend would be the ideal set up software wise to use with anime studio to create animations like this.

Also seeing if you guys can give me some tips on exactly on how to create an animation like this. Im assuming its a bunch of screenshots of the site im on and so forth but any suggestions or help i would really appreciate it.

Thanks everyone, and hope the holidays is treating everyone good !

Jon. :)

You could just open up a website in your browser, then press the "Print Screen" button which takes a snapshot of what you're looking at. You then open up an image editing program like photoshop or even MS Paint and paste with ctrl+v . Then save your image and import it into Anime Studio. Repeat this process for all of the website features.

In Anime Studio, you would import all of your images into a switch layer. You would then animate a stick figure interacting with the website and use the switch layer to make it appear as if it is interacting with the website. You could create special effects as well to liven things up.
