I am looking to do an animated water something like this:
for an anime surfer character I created in poser pro.
I am new to Anime Studio so any tutorial would be nice
Thanks,

Looks like several particles. Might start there.

Wonder if it's possible to bend a particle stream with bones?
I seem to remember playing with something similar a while back. Might be worth an explore?

If that doesn't work, just render it and bend the video.

I don't mess with particles much, but I seem to remember you can get them to follow a path, and it's now possible to get them to operate within a masked area. Should be enough there...

It looks there are several circles rotating at different speeds.
I would try this: Create a group and inside a vector layer with a circle and white lines. Rotate the vector layer in 360° and create a cycle with it. Now scale the group down in Y to get an oval.

Fantastic advice! I've been using AS for years and had no idea that it would scale like that. I gave it a try and this is my result.
I just used spinning circles with a circle brush stroke for the white dots of the wave. I then used a particle for the wave crash. Everything else is pretty much stationary.

I got the spinning circles down and the advice to make a group and then y scale the group was invaluable. It looks pretty good. By tomorrow hopefully I wall add the wave crashing on top and the particles then I will post what I have done.
Thanks
