I am new to animation, and I am in the process of making a 4 second video I intend to convert into a looping gif. I am looking for ways to make breathing textures. Tutorials, or if anyone has tips.

Here is an example of a test render for the background.
Right now I have a visualizer video imported to act as a loose example, but it's not perfectly looped or even anything like what I want really, because I know you can't do that in AS.

I am currently trying out different things, but I thought I'd try to bounce some ideas around if anyone is interested.

How about you take it half way, then just rewind?
Something like this:

Sometimes the solution is so simple one should just uninstall their OS and go outside. Thanks.

That answer made my day. Thx!

On a more practical note: have a look into the vector settings of AS' vector layers (open layer tab, go to vector tab). Animated outlines and fills can create that wiggly look you surely have seen in films already. Experiment with the settings to get the result you want. Change the project FPS to adjust the speed.
