Pretty good. I like the idea of horrible/adorables, maybe this one could use a bit more adorable.
Actually, that's not quite it. The character looks flat. Which is ok, except you have him turning, instead of say, rocking side-to-side. The shadow underneath looks fine. Perhaps you could add some shading so that it seems a bit more 3-dimensional. For reference, look at the shadow on the top part of the coffee-maker. Maybe try to give that eye something to sit inside.
Always interested to see what you folks are up to. That 2.5D technique is fascinating.

Yes i do get it about the shadow. That´s what lychee told me. I wasn't totally satisfy with this version. I'll improve the character for the next episode.

I though about what disturb me about only in shading with AS 11 or AE.
I finally put a bit of both for the final result:
A low percentage of opacity in AS and three different lights in AE.
