Copy Layers from one project, and paste into another.

I created an animation of blinking eyes that I'd like to copy from one of my projects into another so they'll be identical. Is there any way to do this?

Thank you,
Sarah

Try this:

1.) Put all the component layers of your blinking eyes into one bone layer.

2.) Open the .anme file you want to copy the eyes into.

3. Click on File -> Import -> Anime Studio Object

4. From the prompt screen, open the .anme file with the blinking eyes in it.

5. Select the bone layer with the eyes (check the appropriate box), and click Open.

This should place the eyes, animation and all, in your other file.

If you're using 10, an alternative method is to:

1. Open both scene files at the same time. (ASP 10 allows you to do this.)
2. Put the elements you want to copy into a Group layer.
3. Use the Copy Layer and Paste Layer command to paste the group into your comp.

If you wish, you can remove your layers from the group now.

Note: If you don't put your layers into a group or under a bone layer as described in the first method, Copy Layer will only copy the top most layer. If what you're copying is already contained in a Group, Bone or Switch layer, you don't need to create a new group for it; just use Copy Layer for the Group, Bone or Switch layer.

Hope this helps.
