Character instancing

First off, this package absolutely rocks. I have spent a number of years producing personal, Internet and broadcast animations with it and honestly feel it is the most vastly underpriced tool in my animation toolbag.
For smaller projects, there is very little I would change, the issue comes on larger scale projects, where multiple character and scene files exist. It would be really great to be able to have the characters in a scene be referencing an external anime studio file, so if I update that file, all the instances of that character would update in any scenes they are used in.
Not a deal breaker by any means, but would be nice.
