I think there are enough bugs to fix in AS 10 before they should think about to release a new main version.

AS8 was June 2011; AS9 was September 2012; (AS9.5 was around August 2013); AS10 was March 2014 ... back in the AS8 release webinar there was a policy statement for "15 to 18 month" release cycles: see https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... 4404#t=489 ... There's a small line at the end of Dkwroot´s post displaying the date and time his post was last edited. It says: "Last edited by dkwroot on xxx, edited 1 time in total."
The date value of xxx shows that he edited it after Hayasiidist´s post, which would explain it.
(I've tried to find dk's original reply using archive.org but they only take snapshots every now and then. :) )
