Ending an Animation

After I get an Animation + Audio complete and set the keyframe when viewing it, it will continue cycling again & again. How can I stop this so i can add it to a movie ? Is this where "Rendering" come's in ?

Click on "File/Export Animation" to write a video file and import it into a video editor. The cycling will not be part of the video.

As kitzeldikatz replied, this is just a preview mode that cycles the animation in loops, when You actually render the animation (CTRL-E), only the frames that You set in the start and end box will be rendered!
