How do I turn off 3D!?!?

Image So I drew this character in 2d, and now for some reason if I go to move a layer, like say part of the arm; as I slide the layer across the screen it warps and bends like I am moving around some point in 3d space. Rather than just sliding the image straight across the screen, it bends like I am wrapping it around a pole. I used the view rotate and see that all of my image is seperated by gaps like they are all at different depths. How can I flatten the image? I want to just work in 2d with a straight on view, but I don't want to have to redraw this entire character. I tried going layer by layer and clicking Reset on all of the positions, but it hasn't worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

---------> The layers all appear to be at an angle as well. I just want everything flat like pieces of paper on top of each other, no depth, no warping when I slide layers around. Just like moving pieces of paper around a table. I tried setting all of the Z values to 0...nothing helps. ARGHGHHH

most likely is that you've moved the camera and then made new layers with the "auto center" option on (Edit / preferences).

reset the camera to default position
reset all the layer attributes (x,y,z; rotations ...) to defaults

you might want to turn that "auto center" option off...

If that ain't it, just say...
