Hi, I'm an old fat biker in NY. I'm going to SVA in NYC for animation classes. I also know how to use Anime Studio. They are teaching me Adobe Aftereffects for character animation. Aftereffects is cool for effects, not so much for character animation. I think that the one teacher is.... Hum... Well she did ask me "What are you doing here? Twice after seeing some of my Anime Studio animations.

I like animating, drawing and not collecting friends.

Very nice, Dale! I am going to add you as my friend! ^^
Since you make animations, can you send me some of your animations? Even if it was just a test :D

I just did a ball bounce and a walk cycle in Aftereffects. They are on the school sever. I will post them soon. How about you trying the same in AS?
Then we can compare.

The ball bounce.

The day job is killing my free time. I have got other things completed, want to post them as a reel from SVA.

Its OK. What sells it is the Squash and Stretch.

Now your it's turn, in AS

If you want to get better you have to practice the basics of animation. Knowing how to use a program only take you so far.

No hurry. Animation doesn't happen overnight. Look up 12 principles of animation and some guy called Williams.
